This age of digital books allows anyone who has a message to get it out to a broader audience.
However, the question we have as writers is, “How long will my message stay active in the marketplace?” We can read some of the shorter, fluff-filled books being sold today and immediately know that the life of that book will be short. Why? Because it doesn’t contain depth and how to apply that information to the reader’s life.
What about all this craze on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is taking over writing? Consider me old-fashioned but no AI is going to replace the human need for deep connection, trust, ability to bond, and the writing of classic books that survive for decades!

But they are really seeking someone to show them how to apply that solution to their lives in a simple, speedy manner.
This is where the classic books flourish. The evergreen problems and solutions are something every generation struggles with.

My expertise to write personal growth and Christian growth books comes from my life experiences – 10 year addiction, 14 years as a lay counselor on crisis hotlines, studying the Bible since 1980 when I became a Christian, being in a marriage where my life was sucked out of me, my medical conditions, all the marketing courses and books I have read, etc.
These experiences, and the Godly wisdom given to me, allow me to get inside the mind of the reader and connect with their emotions as they struggle to resolve their problem.
While writing my books, there was missing a major element – having someone critique my writing as I wrote the book.
